Solution Focused Hypnotherapy & Mindset Support: How & Why It Works

    The science behind feeling better

The Feel Good MINDSET Method™ combines Solution Focused Hypnotherapy with mindset support to help you feel calmer, happier and more confident.

From your very first session, you'll learn more about your brain and how your mind works.

I'm passionate about helping people understand what's going on in their minds, so they can make sense of why they think and feel as they do and, most importantly, discover how they can influence their mindset and make positive changes.

Because understanding what's going on in our minds really can change everything.

    Our amazing brains

    I don't have a magic wand, and I don't need one!

Our brains have an incredible ability to change and adapt, thanks to something called neuroplasticity — the brain's natural ability to form and strengthen connections, learn new things and develop new patterns of thinking and responding.

And the really good news? This ability continues throughout our lives.

That means the way we think, feel and respond isn't necessarily set in stone. With the right support and practice, we can develop more helpful patterns and make positive changes.

Creating the conditions for positive change

Our minds and bodies are closely connected. How we think and feel influences our nervous system, and the state of our nervous system can influence how we think and feel.

I help you create the conditions for positive change. You'll learn practical ways to influence your brain chemistry, supporting the natural production of feel-good neurotransmitters such as serotonin and dopamine, while helping to regulate stress hormones and support your nervous system — so you can feel calmer, happier and more confident.

    Focusing on the good stuff

I help you focus on what's going well in your life — the positives, the small wins and the things you're pleased to notice and appreciate about yourself.

It's not about forcing positivity. We're human, and ups and downs are a natural part of life.

It's about helping your brain become better at noticing the good stuff too. What we regularly notice and pay attention to can influence how we think and feel, what we believe about ourselves and how we experience life.

And that can make a really positive difference to our mindset.

    Focusing on what you want

Whether it's how you'd like to feel, the way you'd like to think about things or what you'd like to do, we'll focus on what matters most to you.

What you do want, as opposed to what you don’t want.

We'll explore what you'd like to be different, take time to imagine how you'd like to experience life and envision what those positive changes would look and feel like.

There's no need to spend time overanalysing yourself or unpicking the past. Instead, we'll focus on where you want to go and the small steps that can help you get there.

    Working with your subconscious mind

Many of our thoughts, feelings and responses happen automatically, without us consciously choosing them.

    That's where hypnosis comes in.

Through guided relaxation and focused attention, hypnosis offers an opportunity to work with those automatic patterns, using positive suggestions and imagery to support the changes you'd like to make.

It's a gentle, collaborative process in which you remain aware and in control.

Together with the positive focus and forward-thinking approach of our sessions, hypnosis can help you develop more helpful patterns of thinking, feeling and responding — so you can get the best out of yourself and the most out of life.
